Poo-doku Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Poo-doku puzzle game (Android package com.poodoku.game), made by ZERF Studios (“we”, “us”). By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. Who can play

Poo-doku is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who must also agree to these terms and approve any purchases.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Poo-doku on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game, its puzzles, artwork, sounds and characters belong to ZERF Studios or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer or distribute the game, except where the law allows it.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

All purchases are made through Google Play and are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Prices are shown in your local currency in Google Play before you confirm, and may include taxes.

Standard No-Ads (one-time purchase)

Removes banner and full-screen (interstitial) ads for as long as you use the Google account you bought it with. Optional rewarded videos, which you choose to watch for a hint or a revive, are still available.

Royal Club (weekly subscription)

Royal Club benefits: no ads of any kind (hints and revives are unlocked without watching videos), offline play, plus the Golden Poop piece and Golden Crown. Offline play works for up to 7 days after the game last confirmed your subscription with Google Play while you were online, so connect at least once a week to keep it going. If we ever offer a free trial or introductory price, its length and the price that follows will be shown in Google Play before you subscribe, and you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If the price changes, Google Play will notify you in advance, and where required you must agree to the new price before your subscription continues.

Refunds and restoring purchases

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy, and nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law where you live. To restore purchases on a new device or after reinstalling, sign in to the same Google account and use Restore purchases in the game.

Virtual items

Upgrades, stars, streaks and other in-game items have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.

4. Leaderboards and player names

Your leaderboard name, times and stars are shown publicly to all players. Your leaderboard name must not:

• be offensive, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or obscene;
• impersonate another person, brand or ZERF Studios;
• contain personal information such as a real full name, phone number, address or social media handle;
• advertise anything or contain links.

Names are checked against a word filter when you set them. Reporting: if you see a name that breaks these rules, tap the flag next to it on the leaderboard, or email privacy@zerfstudios.com with the name, the stall number or Daily Drop date where it appears, and the reason. We review reports promptly and may rename or remove entries, or block names, that break these rules, without notice.

5. Fair play

Don’t cheat, tamper with the game or its data, use automated tools, or submit fake scores. We may remove leaderboard entries that look manipulated and may restrict access to the leaderboards for players who break this rule.

6. Advertising

The free version of the game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites and apps they lead to. How ad data is used is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and your progress

The game needs an internet connection, except for offline play with an active Royal Club subscription (see above); leaderboards always need one. We work to keep the game running smoothly but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or retire features, puzzles or the game itself. Progress is stored on your device (and in Google Play Games, if you use it), so uninstalling the game or clearing its data may permanently delete your progress. Purchases can always be restored from Google Play.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose consumer laws give you rights that cannot be waived, you keep those rights and may bring claims in your local courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes or the law requires. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game or on its Google Play listing before they take effect. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
